A future shaped by Roma youth.
We support Roma young people in education, strengthen their identity and help them start their careers.
30 YEARS TOGETHER!
Romaversitas Turns 30
30 years. 600+ lives supported. Generations of Roma young people who are now shaping Hungary as professionals.
We have supported hundreds of Roma young people on their journeys from secondary school to university, graduation and professional careers. Today, our alumni include doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers, artists and community leaders.
Founded and led by Roma people, Romaversitas has spent three decades strengthening a community of Roma intellectuals and professionals, united by knowledge, identity and a sense of belonging.
Over these 30 years, we have learned together, debated, laughed, formed friendships and built lifelong connections. Generations come together at Romaversitas, bringing long-standing alumni and new members of our community closer. It is a community people are proud to belong to and can count on, even decades later.
Behind 30 years of history are real people. Together, we are writing the story of the next 30 years.
Whether you are a student looking for new opportunities, a former Romaversitas student hoping to reconnect, or an individual, company or partner wishing to support the future of Roma young people, you too can help shape the next chapter of Romaversitas.

Education. Community. Opportunity.
Romaversitas was founded in 1996 by a circle of Roma intellectuals to support Roma students in higher education. We believe that long-term investment in education creates sustainable social change.
